EmailShepherd can generate custom images using AI, perfect for creating unique visuals that match your campaign needs when stock photos won't do.

Generating Images from the Image Library​

To generate images, navigate to the Image Library page in the sidebar and click the Generate with AI ✨ button.

You'll need to provide:

  • Name: A descriptive name for your image (this helps with organization and searchability)
  • Aspect ratio: Choose the dimensions that work best for your email layout
  • Prompt: Describe the image you want generated

Click the Generate button to create your image.

After generation, you can choose to add the image directly to your image library or generate another variation.

Generating Images from the Email Editor​

You can also generate images directly while building emails. Simply ask the AI Agent Copilot to generate an image for you, and it will create and insert the image without leaving the editor.

Example requests:

  • "Generate a hero image of a couple, smiling leaning against a car"
  • "Generate a background image with a professional office setting"

Writing Effective Prompts​

Be specific about style and context:

  • Instead of: "A person using a computer"
  • Try: "Professional woman using a laptop in a modern office, clean lighting, business casual attire"

Specify important details:

  • Colors that match your brand
  • Setting or background preferences
  • Style (realistic, illustration, minimalist, etc.)
  • Mood or feeling you want to convey
