Personalization Tags

Personalization tags help you to include personalized content in your emails, such as `hello firstName` without needing to type out ESP-specific syntax. It helps reduce errors, since the syntax needs to be defined just once and can be referenced anywhere in an email.

To create a new personalization tag, navigate to Dynamic Content > Personalization Tags > Add personalization tag.

📄️ Using a Personalization Tag in an email

Personalization tags can be used in most fields in the email builder. Click the {} icon in the field you want to use the personalization tag in, and select the personalization tag you want to use.
