Layouts
What are Layouts?
Layouts enable you to create your Emails from a predefined set of components and content.
Layouts use cases
Layouts are useful when you regularly create emails that follow a similar format, for example you may have a newsletter that uses the same components that you send every week.
To save yourself time, you can save a Layout which can be the starting point for your next email, saving you the time of adding the same components and content over and over again.
Creating a new Layout
To save a Layout, all you need to do is click the Save as Layout
button in the top bar of the editor. You will be prompted to enter a name for your layout.
Managing Layouts
To view, rename or delete layouts, head over to the relevant Email Design System and enter the Layouts
tab.
Using a Layout
To use a Layout to create a new email, just select the Layout from the dropdown list in the email creation form.
Note that a Layout can only be used with the same combination of Email Design System and Brand Profile that it was saved in.
